Today with Hoda & Jenna is back with a new episode on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. on NBC. The episode features a diverse range of guests, including an actress, a singer, a chef, and a beauty expert.
First up is Bette Midler, who joins the show to discuss her upcoming film, The Fabulous Four. The comedy, directed by Jocelyn Moorhouse, follows three friends who travel to Key West, Florida, to be bridesmaids at the surprise wedding of their college friend, played by Midler. The film also stars Susan Sarandon, Megan Mullally, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Michael Bolton, and is set to be released on July 26, 2024.
Next, the show welcomes Nelly Furtado, a globally-respected entertainer with over 20 billion global streams and 35 million album sales worldwide. Furtado has had three platinum or multi-platinum albums and three No. 1 tracks on the Billboard Hot 100. She recently reunited with Timbaland and Justin Timberlake on the hit song “Keep Going Up” and has announced new singles, “Love Bites” and “Corazón,” featuring an impressive list of collaborators.
The episode also features Chef Mawa McQueen, owner of Mawa’s Kitchen in Aspen, Colorado. McQueen, who was born on Africa’s Ivory Coast and raised in Paris, France, is known for her passion for creating balanced, healthy, locally sourced, and organic dishes. She has received the Colorado Governor’s Minority Business Award and launched her own snack brand, GrainFreeNola, during the COVID-19 pandemic. McQueen has also authored a cookbook, “Mawa’s Way,” which features recipes inspired by her African, French, and American roots.
Rounding out the guests is Ashlee Glazer, an on-air beauty expert and celebrity makeup artist. Glazer, who has appeared on Project Runway All Stars and The Wendy Williams Show, is known for her energy, passion, and knowledge of all things beauty.
