On Wednesday, August 28, NBC’s Today with Hoda & Jenna welcomes award-winning actress and musician Vanessa Williams, and the Povolo quintuplets.
Vanessa Williams joins the show to discuss her new album, Survivor, which was released on August 23, 2024. Williams, at 61 years old, says she’s in a new chapter of her life, producing her own music and no longer waiting on others. Her new single, “Legs (Keep Dancing)”, marks her big return to music.
The Povolo quintuplets, consisting of two girls and three boys, recently graduated from Montclair State University together. They were admitted as Presidential Scholars and received full academic scholarships. Their mother, Silvia Povolo, an assistant housekeeping supervisor at the university, teared up as she listened to her quintuplets during a family interview before the commencement ceremony. The quintuplets expressed gratitude for the opportunity to attend college together and for the connections and memories they made at Montclair State.
