Tonight, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” welcomes pop superstar Ariana Grande, fresh off the release of her rendition of “Popular” from the highly anticipated film adaptation of “Wicked.” Grande is expected to discuss her role as Glinda the Good Witch, offering fans a glimpse into the movie musical before its November 22 release. Will she arrive in full Glinda regalia? One can only hope. But let’s be realistic. This is a talk show, not a full-blown Broadway production number. Though, admittedly, a little sparkle wouldn’t hurt.
Also gracing the stage is the multi-talented Michael Bublé. The crooner will be pulling double duty, chatting about his experiences as a judge on “The Voice” and offering a musical performance. Given Bublé’s smooth vocals and Fallon’s penchant for musical shenanigans, the possibility of a duet or some unexpected musical collaboration isn’t entirely out of the realm of possibility.
