The Unexplained Special Presentation returns to History with a double bill of episodes to kick off its second season.
The first episode a 9:00 PM, “Strange Forces of Nature,” explores unexplained phenomena and events in our natural world, from powerful earthquakes to enigmatic balls of energy. Do these occurrences have human-involved origins, and how can we prove their existence? The episode also explores strange historical accounts, such as fish falling from the sky and centuries-old records of enduring darkness. Are these anomalies signs of potential future events?
In the second episode, “The End of Days,” at 10:00 PM the focus shifts to predictions of humanity’s demise and the potential existential threats to our survival. From nuclear disasters to rampant diseases, massive tsunamis to super volcanoes, the episode examines if and how we can prevent these catastrophic events from becoming our reality.
