The Young and the Restless Recap (CBS, Thursday October 31)

The Young and the Restless

On Thursday’s Young and the Restless, Lily chats virtually with Jill, who’s hesitant to fire Billy and make Lily CEO again. Jill wants to give Billy another chance and encourages teamwork, but Lily argues for swift action against Victor’s advances on the company.

Meanwhile, Devon and Abby discuss the latest Victor drama with Dominic in the park. Lily joins them to share the bad news about Jill, prompting Devon to suggest she belongs at Winters. Lily, upset, sounds like Victor and threatens to skip the wedding, leaving Devon heartbroken. Elsewhere, Mariah and Tessa wonder where Sharon is as Aria enjoys her Halloween candy.

At the cottage, a ghostly vision of Heather appears, scolding Sharon for causing her demise and framing Daniel. A distraught Sharon tries to reason, but Heather focuses on Lucy and the problems Sharon has created. Sharon tries to dismiss the vision, but Heather vows to haunt her.

The unsettling vision sticks with Sharon, even after she throws an object to make it disappear. In the car, the vision continues, promising Sharon they’ll be together forever. Later, Sharon arrives at the park, only to be startled by another appearance of Heather.

At Crimson Lights, Billy and Sally observe Chelsea, Adam, and Connor enjoying themselves. Sally suggests perhaps everything happened for the best. An uncomfortable encounter follows when Victoria arrives with Johnny.

While the boys play video games, Billy asks Sally for a drink later, and Chelsea briefly leaves. Victoria, left with Billy and Adam, encourages civility. Alone with Billy, Victoria inquires about the tension, learning about Adam and Sally’s breakup and Adam sleeping with Chelsea. Billy relays Sally’s thoughts on Adam and Chelsea being destined to reunite. Unbeknownst to Billy, Chelsea overhears his words. Later, Adam and Sally discuss the same idea, with Sally wishing them the best.

General Hospital airs weekdays at 2:00 PM on ABC.
