Campaign (BBC-2 1988, Penny Downie, Steven Mann)

Drama series Campaign was set in the world of the Hamilton Forbes and Kent advertising agency. As the series starts things are at a critical point for the agency. It holds a government account and there is a general election on the horizon and their work will be very much in the public eye.

Heading up the campaign is acting creative director Sarah Copeland who is struggling with a failed marriage and the problems of being a working mum.

Other key characters include David Postgate, the managing director; Art director Warren Greenbank and ambitious Stephen Hallam who wants to set up his own agency.
